Did you know Connecticut was voted the number one state for hiking in the US? That’s according to the Office of Tourism. So, it’s no surprise that each year, the state hosts Connecticut Trails Day. It’s a two-day event across the state offering more than 185 different opportunities to get out and explore the Nutmeg State. We spoke with Trails Day Coordinator, Chuck Toal, to talk about the history of Trails Day, what you can expect this year and why you should register sooner rather than later.
