The Senate unanimously passed a bill that would tackle wheelchair repairs for Connecticut residents who rely on the chairs to get around. If it passes, it would be the first state in the nation to have protocols in place. Senator Lisa Seminara, Ranking Senator on the Human Services Committee, explained the legislation and what was discovered on a state Wheelchair Task Force she served on for months prior to creating this proposal.
