This week is Patient Safety Awareness Week and we wanted to tackle the importance of patient safety at hospitals in Connecticut. How do we know a facility prioritizes patient safety and how do we recognize good patient care, especially if you’ve never had a procedure done before? In a 2023 report from The Leapfrog Group, a handful of Connecticut hospitals scored an A in patient safety. Stamford Health landed on that list!
