Today I want to bring up the most adorable hamster! Garbanzo. He is easy to handle, comes right over to say hi ( most likely for food but who is keeping count??).
He is about a month old and ready to find his forever home! His family purchased two hamsters from a pet shop and tried to keep them separate, but hamsters can be very clever and they managed to escape together and Garbanzo was born. I mainly bring this up to show how smart they can be and most importantly how they can be escape artists. When purchasing a cage you want to make sure you purchase a good quality cage for your hamster. Our adoption counselors will talk to you about what types of housing for these critters.
Though Garbanzo is a friendly guy we still would like to see an interaction with your family to make sure that it is the right fit. Did I mention he was cute??
