It’s been 35 years since the L’Ambiance Plaza collapse in Bridgeport. It’s known as one of the worst construction tragedies in US history. On April 23, 1987, seven floors of the structure crumbled to the ground, killing 28 construction workers. We spoke with several people directly touched by the tragedy:
