You know that expression “I was born ready”? This is the life philosophy of guinea pigs everywhere. As soon as a guinea pig is born he stands up, shakes off and starts to move around like a teeny tiny adult. Today’s pet of the week is one of those. A five week old guinea pig named Saturn. He is a healthy happy bouncy baby boy, ready to make someone a very sweet pet. Guinea pigs are herd animals, it is always recommend adopting in pairs (at least!) if you don’t already have one at home. Saturn has a brother here of the same age, and they enjoy each others company. Saturn is curious, funny little guy, with an eye always on the possibility of his next salad.
