WICC Pet of The Week

Leah is a year old dilute tortie cat who has been in the humane societies care for quite some time. Her long stay is due to some medical conditions and are now looking for a VERY special home for her. Leah was born with a congenital  heart issue, though you would never know it from her demeanor. She is one of the goofiest, cuddliest, and most playful cats. She would do well in a busy household with lots of people to love and play with. She has never met a stranger or a toy that did not give her joy. She can likely live with other cats and might be a good fit to live with cat- friendly dogs. Sounds perfect, right? Well yes, she is. However, adopting Leah comes with a hard part as well. It is absolutely essential that Leah takes her daily medications and sees the veterinarian regularly to monitor her heart. Although she is young, her prognosis is guarded. Currently seeking a family who can give her the very best life each and every day she has.
