If she will sit still long enough, we’ll introduce to you this week’s wiggly and playful pet of the week, Dhalia. Dhalia is a husky, approximately 9 months old. She is very typical of her breed, and it’s a breed that is wonderful but not a great fit for everyone’s lifestyle. Huskies need to be given lots of exercise for their bodies and their brains. They can be both affectionate and aloof and are prone to escaping fenced in yards. They often do best in active, nature-loving homes that can provide hikes and runs. Dhalia may be a good fit as a single dog or as a companion to another active, playful dog. She would prefer to live in a home with adults only or a family with teenagers.
