This week we have a six-month-old hound puppy named Virgil who is looking for a home. Virgil came in with his two littermates, both of whom have been adopted. This group is a rowdy, dog-social crew, with a bit of shyness around new people. Once he knows you, he’s playful and cuddly. His ideal home would be one with another playful dog and a fully fenced yard. He would also be happy in a home where he can hike and play on a long lead while out with his family. Because he is shy, we think he’s do better with an adult only home or with one with older kids. Because he is a hound he talks a lot.
