"Let
us entertain you, and we'll have a real good time.
Yes sir! We'll have a real good time....
"These words from a popular show tune
aptly describe what occurs whenever the Singing
Sweethearts perform. The Sweethearts are an all
female chorus of approximately forty members, singing
in four part harmony. We offer a wide variety of
music, including popular ballads, spirituals, patriotic
and folk music, as well as a complete selection
of Christmas music for the Yule Season. The chorus
has performed throughout Fairfield County for PTA
groups, industrial clubs, civic and social groups,
appearing also at charity and community affairs.
"Should your group or organization want
The Singing Sweethearts to entertain at your next
function please contact our business manager for
further information.....and "Let us entertain
you..." "

In an
unusual turn of fate, webmaster and host of WICC's
current running show Sock Hop Saturday Night, Mark
Edwards recently found this copy of the Singing
Sweethearts album on EBAY several weeks prior to
being contacted by Frank. The album is in pristine
condition and appears to have been played perhaps
once, if ever. Submitted by Mark Edwards |

Frank and fans flight to Nashville,
Tenn. to visit the "Grand Ole Opry" during Frank's
hosting of "The All American Sound In Music" on
WICC. Frank Derak, far right, playing the part as host and
loving it. Submitted by Frank Derak
