Aaron Johnson was raised in Connecticut and graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield. After high school, he pursued a degree in journalism from Southern Connecticut State University, graduating in 2015.

After graduation, he worked at Hearst Connecticut Media as a business editorial assistant, town reporter, breaking news reporter, and sports editor/reporter over two years. While working at Hearst, he also was a high school baseball color commentary for CPTV Sports.

Prior to coming to WICC 600, he also worked at the Republican-American newspaper in Waterbury as a reporter in Watertown, Middlebury, and Waterbury.

In his spare time away from the mic and radio board, Aaron is an avid video gamer and huge sports fan rooting for his favorite teams: the New York Yankees, New York Knicks, and New York Jets. His career goal is to one day host a sports talk radio show in a major market.
